p_012. Renewed Lightness| Gokul Apartment 

This 100-year-old load-bearing bungalow, divided into five apartments and shaped by multiple renovations, presented unique challenges. Our goal was to respect the building’s age and structure while transforming a dark, cramped apartment into a bright and airy home.

To achieve this, we made precise, surgical interventions, reimagining the layout into a fluid space. High-volume storage was seamlessly concealed behind false walls to meet the shifting needs of a growing family and accommodate visiting grandparents.

Each area was designed to be multifunctional—nooks for sleeping could effortlessly transition into spaces for entertainment, allowing the home to adapt gracefully to daily life and hosting occasions.
